Since 2020 we have consistently operated a dynamic & multi-faceted community based hunger relief initiative which addresses food insecurity and resource scarcity. We provide a holistic support system for families and individuals in need.
By providing a vital assortment of essential items for well-being, our approach ensures that families of our community are supported to maintain basic health and cleanliness to include:
- -Fresh produce
- -Quality meats
- -Canned goods
- -Diapers and Wipes
- -Hygiene items and feminine products
With our on-site community nourishment volunteers, we immediately serve hot, prepared meals during the monthly distribution event to immediately address hunger and transform what would be a transaction into a true community gathering.
We recognize that access can be a major barrier, therefore we additionally transport necessary and requested items to the elderly, those with mobility challenges. or those who cannot physically attend.
We strategically bundle resources and services to represent a significant community based intervention, and to ensure maximum impact, accessibility, equity, and attendance! Furthermore, we maintain a separate emergency drop-in pantry which provides food assistance for unexpected crises and to demonstrate our commitment to equitable community access and support.
